United Benefice Pilgrimage to Canterbury
The 2009 Pilgrimage took place between the 22nd and 26th September with Ed Hanson and Richard Page walking 60 miles from Orsett Parish Church to Canterbury Cathedral.
On the way they crossed the Thames to Gravesend then on through Rochester picking up the North Downs Way. Visiting Aylesford Priory they passed through Charing and Chilham on the way to Canterbury.
Others joined in for part of the walk, particularly on the last (and shortest!) day and on arrival at the Cathedral, Ed celebrated Holy Communion in All Saint's Chapel.
